MODULOWATT is a global and progressive approach to electro-mobility. It aims to speed up and widen the use of EVs. It answers the specific integration needs of the electric car by taking into account its cabling constraints and communication needs with a host of actors.
The approach is based on three core values:
- Simplify and render safe all the manœuvres linked to the use of the EV: recharging, billing, payment
- Gradually reserve surface parking for EVs in towns and use the revenue from existing parking spaces as leverage to finance the building of recharging stations on public roads
- Guarantee the repositioning of self-service cars (Autolib' model) after they have been used between full stations and empty ones based on flexible and relatively cheap delivery
