Visitors (about 20,000) were highly impressed by the ergonomics of the recharging solution developed by MODULOWATT. The company offers a safe, «hands free», clean alternative to the cable when recharging your electric car on the public thoroughfare. The charging station deploys a mechanical arm that connects automatically to the vehicle's electric plug. Payment is made by monthly direct debit and no longer by credit card.
Questioned by the value for money of an infrastructure deployment model which combines recharging and parking, local government representatives are already volunteering their towns as test sites as from 2012.
Last but not least, many foreign visitors, who are also concerned by the same environmental problems linked to transport we face have also made it clear that they would like to become involved in collaborating projects.
